About
What Tapovan is
Tapovan is a structured knowledge platform for Sanatana Dharma — built for the global Indian diaspora who were raised in the tradition but never given a systematic framework to understand it.
Most of what exists online about Hindu temples, the dharmic calendar, and the pilgrimage circuits is either devotional content (which assumes you already believe) or academic content (which treats the tradition as an object of study rather than a living path). Tapovan occupies the space between — structured, sourced, and written for the practitioner.
Every piece of content on Tapovan is sourced. Every temple page cites its scriptural and scholarly references. This is not optional — it is the foundational commitment of the platform.
